Breckon Farms is proud to celebrate a standout performance from exciting three-year-old filly Our Col, who delivered a career-defining victory on 10 April at Cambridge Raceway’s prestigious Night of Champions.
In just her third start, Our Col produced a sensational display, stopping the clock in a career-best 1:58.7 mile rate over 2200 metres for Tony Herlihy. The performance not only secured her third consecutive win but also saw her set a new New Zealand record, surpassing the previous mark held by fellow Breckon-bred star Tailored Elegance.
The daughter of Father Patrick out of Cheeky Babe has now maintained a perfect record of three wins from three starts, accumulating $41,500 in stakes and establishing herself as one of the most promising young fillies in the country.
Bred by Breckon Farms Ltd, Our Col was offered through our yearling draft, where she was purchased for $27,500.
