Winners this week include …

Mathew James (3g Bettor’s Delight / Taylor Kate by Artsplace) won at Pinjarra on the 15th April where he drew No.1 and went straight to the lead, going on for an easy 8.2m win for the favourite over the 2185m – bred by RA & JV Yarndley.

Crystal Sparkles (5m Rocknroll Hanover / Taylor Kate by Artsplace) won at Victor Harbor also on the 15th April, drawing No.2 she also went straight to the lead as they cut out the first ¼ in 26.5 and had a few challengers but none good enough to be in front at the finish as she went on for win number 17 with 14 placings – bred by RA & JV Yarndley.

Bronze Ecstasy (9g Bettor’s Delight / Bronze Laine by Il Vicolo) won at Marburg also on the 15th April where he drew No.3 over the 2200m journey to go forward and get the trail, before moving out to face the breeze and sit outside the leader, hitting the lead turning for home to go on for an easy win to now have 16 wins & 49 placings for $116,165 – bred by K & S Marshall.


Lovin Miss Daisy (7m Bettor’s Delight / Christian Watch by Falcon Seelster) won at Menangle on the 16th April drawing No.4 she began fast to get the lead and was never headed, going on to win by 5.5m in a 1:53.7 Mile Rate, close to her best of 1:53.3 and now has 19 wins & 26 placings for $177,570 – bred by Breckon Farms Ltd.
Purest Silk (4m Rocknroll Hanover / Veste by Christian Cullen) won at Gloucester Park also on the 16th April where she was the only horse on the 2nd Row to settle 1-out-and-3-back and was still there at the bell, but she went forward 3-wide down the back straight to hit the lead 50m from home and win in a 1:57.8 Mile Rate for the 2130m to now have 7 wins & 3 placings for $72,249 from just 22 starts – bred by the Coburg Syndicate.
Miracle Moose (3g Mach Three / Minnie Moose by Bettor’s Delight) won at Cambridge on the 18th April where he drew No.13 (lucky for some), but got a good run through and ended up 1-out-and-3-back, then was 3-wide turning for home and powered down the straight to win by a head and record his maiden win after 6 starts – bred by Mrs CJ & BJ Whitelock.


Princess Tiffany (3f Art Major / Dancing Diamonds by Bettor’s Delight) won at Addington on the 20th April drawing No.2 she went forward at the start in her Nevele R Fillies Heat, taking the lead with the rest of the field settling in single file behind her, going on for another easy win and paying $1.10 in a 1:57.7 Mile Rate for the 1980m to now have 12 wins from 14 starts for $536,477 – bred by BJ & Mrs CJ Whitelock.


Racketeers Boy (4g Rocknroll Hanover / Racketeers Girl by Falcon Seelster) won at Hawera also on the 20th April where he drew No.13 and dropped back to get down to the markers before coming out to be 4-back on the outer, he then went 3-wide rounding the bend to head off the leader by a half head for win number 4 together with 6 placings for $27,595 – bred by Breckon Farms Ltd.

Placed horses this week were Times Stride 2nd at Menangle, Chaaat 3rd at Forbury Park, Stylish Trend 2nd at Hobart, Itsokbeingbetter 2nd at Hawera, Elle Mac 3rd, Funatthebeach 2nd and Tailored Elegance 3rd all at Addington, Laredo Torpedo 2nd at Launceston, Miss Streisand 2nd at Melton, Itsokbeingbetter 3rd and Racketeers Boy 3rd both at Hawera.

In the USA …
Bronze Over (6m Changeover / Bronze Lady by Lislea) won at Yonkers Raceway on the 12th April, drawing No.5, she was 6th at the first ¼ and still 6th at the half and the ¾, then turning for home 5th and went on to win by a head in a 1:55.8 mile – bred by KT & SD Marshall.

Our Max Phactor (6g Art Major / Tact Philly by In The Pocket) also won at Yonkers Raceway on the 20th April where he drew No.7 and at the first ¼ he was 7th, at the ½ was still 7th, at the ¾ he was 8th, then at the top of the straight was 5th, then the 4th favourite went on to win his first start in the States in a $29,000 race in 1:54.0 – bred by Breckon Farms Ltd.
