Tailored Elegance scores spot in the 3YO Catanach Jewellers Breeders Crown Trotters Final.
After a hitting the line strongly for third in the track record setting Heat at Maryborough on Thursday the daughter of Classic Armbro secured her spot in next Sunday's Group 1 Final.
The sizzling race saw them run a 1.57 MR for the 2190m event, shaving over 2 seconds off the age/class record and nearly a second off the FFA record at Maryborough. Drawn wide (8) Tailored Elegance was forced back and had to sustain a strong run to place behind winner Alderbaran Tess who dictated the slick terms upfront throughout.
The former Purdon/Rasmussen trained filly has been based with Brent Lilley since early August with an eye to securing her spot in the Group 1 event.
Drawn 9 in Sunday's event she will fly the Breckon Farms flag for her connections the Breckon Farms - Savvy Six Syndicate.
