COUNTRY CUP TALLY GROWS FOR CODE BLACK
The #BreckonBred son of Bettor's Delight added another Group win to his already impressive CV when taking out the Grp 3 United Petroleum Yarra Valley Pacers Cup earlier this evening.
This is the geldings second Country Cup's win for the season after taking out the AVOCA MARYBOROUGH COMMUNITY BANK BRANCHES MARYBOROUGH GOLD CUP back in October.
Piloted by regular driver Greg Sugars, he settled back in the running before making the move to the parked position. Winning by 1.2m he recorded a tidy mile rate of 1.59 for the 2650m event, with the last quarter being run in 26.7 on the wet track.
It was win number 19 for gelding of Christian Cullen mare CHRISTIAN WATCH. With over $300,000 in earnings CODE BLACK continues to do trainers Tonkin Stewart Racing, owners D Zavitsanos, W R Viney and Breckon Farms proud.
CODE'S BLACK full sister, also Breckon Farms bred, LOVIN MISS DAISY is just as well performed with 21 wins in the locker and she's earned just shy of $200,000.
