Times Stride (4h Rocknroll Hanover / Star Of The Ball by Presidential Ball) won at Menangle on the 9th July where he drew No.6 to begin slowly, settling near the back before getting a drag up to face the breeze, then taking the lead rounding the last bend and winning in a time of 1:54.2 for the mile to now have 7 wins & 10 placings for $60,100 – bred by Ryder Bloodstock Ltd.

Some Change (5g Somebeachsomewhere / Dancingonmoonlight by Holmes Hanover) won at Swan Hill on the 11th July starting from No.3, he went out at the start but ended up parked and with nothing moving remained there throughout, hitting the lead coming out of the final bend, he went on for a comfortable win by 5.3m in a 1:59.6 Mile Rate for the 2240m to now have 6 wins & 3 placings for $37,336 – bred by RG Carr & DG Kirkbride.

Gladamare (3f Mach Three / Delightful Dale by Bettor’s Delight) won at Auckland on the 12th July where she drew No.2 to go straight to the lead and was never headed, running the 2200m in a 1:58.9 Mile Rate to win by 2 lengths and now has 3 wins & 2 placings for $27,062 – bred by Breckon Farms Ltd and raced by the Breckon Farms - The Perfect Ten Syndicate.

Purest Silk (4m Rocknroll Hanover / Veste by Christian Cullen) won at Bunbury also on the 12th July drawing No.2 she flew the gate to take the lead and dictated the speed with no serious challengers, she went on to win by 5.1m to now have 10 wins & 6 placings for $97,208 – bred by the Coburg Syndicate.

Our Princess Tiffany (3f Art Major / Dancing Diamonds by Bettor’s Delight) won at Albion Park on the 13th July where she drew No.4 and went forward to hit the lead at the Mile Marker, with Miss Streisand starting from No.3 on the 2nd Row and coming wide around the field to sit parked outside Princess Tiffany who opened up a gap in the home straight to win comfortably by 11.5m with Miss Streisand featuring in another Breckon Farms quinella in the Group 1 TAB Queensland Oaks, to now be the winner of four Oaks this season, with career statistics from 19 starts of 15 wins & 3 placings for $707,384 – bred by BJ & CJ Whitlock.

Yorkshire (3g A Rocknroll Dance / Veste by Christian Cullen) won at Ashburton on the 14th July drawing No.4 on an easy track, he went straight for the lead in his first start and got it rounding the first bend, to go on and win 2 lengths in a time of 1:55.5 for the mile – bred by the Hardwood Breeding Syndicate.


Placed horses this week were Joshua Richard 3rd and Ruby Rose 2nd both at Auckland, Stylish Trend 2nd at Launceston, Miss Streisand 2nd in the Gr.1 Queensland Oaks (her stakes are now $156,986), Burnaholeinmypocket 2nd at Globe Derby Park, Selling The Dream 2nd at Melton.


In the USA …

Change Stride (8g Rocknroll Hanover / Chaangerr by Vance Hanover) won at the Meadowlands on the 12th July where he drew No.3 and was 2nd all the way from the start apart from the winning post where he was in front by a ½ length in even splits of 27.2, 27.4, 27.1 and 27.3, clocking a career-best 1:50.0 for the mile – bred by RG Carr & DG Kirkbride.

Lovin Miss Daisy (5m Bettor’s Delight / Christian Watch by Falcon Seelster) won at Yonkers on the 12th July drawing No.6 she was running 2nd until the top of the straight where she hit the lead and won in a time of 1:52.2 for the mile – bred by Breckon Bloodstock Ltd.



Placed were Rycroft 2nd at Northfield Park, Max Phactor 2nd at Harrah's Philadelphia.
