Winners this week include …

Typhoon Stride (3g Bettor’s Delight / Beach Parade by Beach Towel) won at Menangle on the 16th July, drawing No.5 he began well and was soon leading the field through a quick 27.4 first quarter, before backing off and dictating terms, to sprint home in 27.8 and hang on to win by a half-head in 1:56.3 for the 1609m to now have 2 wins & 3 placings for $14,350 – bred by Woodlands Stud, he was pin-hooked by Breckon Farms at the weanling sale and sold to Emilio & Mary Rosati at the 2017 Australasian Classic Yearling Sale.


Sertorius (5g Muscles Yankee / Classic Armbro by Armbro Invasion) won at Auckland on the 19th July where he started off the 15m Mark, but galloped away before settling down, staying at the back of the field before starting to improve with a round-to-go, he was 3-wide, then sat outside the leader to hit the lead turning for home and went on to win in a real tight finish by a ½-head with a deadheat for 2nd to now have 7 wins & 4 placings for $82,958 – bred by Breckon Farms Ltd.

Placed horses this week were Times Stride 2nd at Menangle, Ruby Rose 2nd and Sea Change 3rd both at Auckland, Crystal Sparkles 2nd at Gloucester Park, Our Princess Tiffany 3rd= at Albion Park in the Gr.1 Queensland Derby, Burnaholeinmypocket 2nd at Globe Derby Park, Smart Fortune 3rd at Bunbury.

Placed was Our Max Phactor 2nd at Saratoga.
