Breckon Farms once again has a good number of farm-bred or foaled, owned or related horses lining up to race this weekend.

Thursday

Redcliffe in Race 2 is Bronze Ecstasy who received a flat tyre and was pulled up last week, so hasn’t had much luck lately, but with his handy draw in this should be the one to beat.

Penrith in Race 4 is Art I Special who has been back in the running in his last 2-starts, so will need some improvement to feature in this.

Bendigo in Race 5 are Pocket Thedeal who has been racing well with a win and a second in his last 2-starts, so should be right in this despite his 2nd Row draw over 1650m and Van Mara who is Em.1 and unlikely to get a start.

Friday

Auckland in Race 2 is Ruby Rose who should improve on her fresh-up 5th placing last time and is capable of getting some of this. In Race 3 is All Yours who has finished well to place in his last 2-starts here and despite his outside Front Line draw should be right in this. In Race 4 is Mach Little Soaky who has gone three good races in his last 3-starts, all on this course and from a handy draw here he is capable of getting some of this. In Race 8 is Racketeers Boy who has had a win and a third in his last 2-starts, both at Cambridge and should have some rough claims here.

Addington in Race 6 is Kruizr who has been racing well away at Forbury Park, collecting a win 2-starts back and is capable of getting some of this.

Hobart in Race 5 is Stylish Trend who was a good last-start winner on the course and from a handy draw here is capable of taking this out.

Gloucester Park in Race 1 is Tuas Delight who was an improver’s fourth last week, but will need to continue along that path to have any chance in this. In Race 7 are Purest Silk who has run her best races when handy so should get her chance to do so here from the ace draw and Crystal Sparkles who had been racing well, but failed in her last two, so will need to bounce back to be in this.

Saturday

Albion Park in Race 6 is Vasari whose form has tapered off, so will need to show considerable improvement to be in this. In Race 9 the Gr.3 South East Oaks are Miss Streisand who is resuming here and certainly capable of giving this a shake and Our Princess Tiffany who won the NZ Oaks 2-back, has won a trial in a 1:51.4 Mile Rate for 1660m on this course since arriving in Queensland and must be the one to beat despite her 2nd Row draw.

Newcastle in Race 5 is Liukin who was a good winner 2-back on the course, then received a flat tyre last week so can be forgiven and is certainly capable of bouncing back to get some of this.

Melton in Race 1 are Laredo Torpedo who has been racing well but didn’t fire last week, so may need some luck from his inside 2nd Row draw here and Van Mara who has struggled to find form since resuming on the 1 June, so will need considerable improvement to be in this.

Sunday

Cranbourne in Race 2 are Selling The Dream who has been racing well, placing in all 3-starts this campaign, so from the ace draw over 1609m here should be right in it and Emiliana who has also been racing well this campaign, other than being held-up 2-starts ago and with some luck from his 2nd Row draw is capable of placing in this.

At Launceston in Race 2 is Stylish Trend who is also set to line-up at Hobart on Friday, was a good last-start winner there, but has the outside 2nd Row draw to overcome here if he does indeed line-up.
