THURSDAY

Cambridge in Race 1 is Suidelike Major who was eased to the rear and finished a tidy 6th placing when resuming here last time from the same outside Front Row draw, so can get some of this. In Race 6 is Mach Little Soaky who was a good last-start 3rd placing at Auckland back on 5 July and won a workout last Saturday, so off the Front Line in this stand should get his chance to be right amongst it.

Over at Redcliffe in Race 5 is So Bobs Your Uncle who is resuming after a spell, so will need to be taken on trust.

At Penrith in Race 6 is Art I Special who took his chance for a narrow win 2-starts back, then was a good 3rd placing last week, so despite his 2nd Row draw here should get his chance to feature.

FRIDAY

Addington in Race 9 is Louis Litt who is on debut after finishing off a recent trial well for 3rd placing, so is not without a chance in this.

At Newcastle in Race 1 is Bite The Bullet who got back from a wide draw last week on the course and is better placed from No.5 over 1609m here to get some of the spoils. At Melton in Race 1 is Van Mara who was a promising 3rd placing last week, but has the outside 2nd Row draw to overcome in this, but is capable of doing so to get some of this. In Race 3 is Rock Tonight who broke in the score-up last week and broke in the running the week before, finishing well back in both races, so will need to improve his manners to have any chance in this.

At Gloucester Park in Race 1 are King Of Swing who never got a run last week from his inside 2nd Row draw, so from a handy Front Row draw here, looks the one to beat and Tuas Delight who has won his last 2-starts, so from his handy No.3 draw here should get his chance to provide a Gary Hall Snr quinella. In Race 5 is Crystal Sparkles who was a good winner from the same No.5 draw last week and is capable of going back-to-back in this. In Race 9 is Smart Fortune who had to do some work last week and was then held-up in the run home, but has been racing very well prior, so ranks a place chance behind the likely hotpot and unbeaten Wildwest.

SATURDAY

Albion Park in Race 4 is Rocking who was a good 3rd placing off a 2nd Row draw last week, after having won the week before, both on this course and with a handy enough draw here should be right in this. In Race 6 is Vasari who won well again last week off a 2nd Row draw, making it 2-from-3 and a 2nd in between, so should be hard to beat again despite his wide draw over 1660m.

At Menangle in Race 3 is My Chachingchaching who was a good second-up 2nd placing last week, after 21 months off the scene, so should strip fitter for this and be thereabouts. In Race 4 is Times Stride who didn’t get many favours in his last-start 6th placing, but prior form was good, so can bounce back to get some of this. In Race 8 is Shandance who was a good 2nd placing in a 1:53.2 mile 2-starts back, then locked wheels and was checked last time, so is certainly capable of bouncing back here.

At Bendigo in Race 8, a Breeders Crown Semi-Final, are Miss Streisand who led and gave ground badly to finish last in her heat last week, but comes up with the ace draw here so should get her chance to bounce back and champion filly Our Princess Tiffany who was a poor 4th by her high standards in the same heat last week, but obviously as a 4-Oaks winning filly and the series favourite to defend her 2YO title, must rate highly to bounce back, albeit from the outside 2nd Row draw.

SUNDAY

Dubbo in Race 10 is Ring The Till who is fresh-up for over a year, but was placed in a trial last week, so with the right run from his 2nd Row draw here, is capable of getting some of this.

At Shepparton in Race 7 is Pocket Thedeal who has been disappointing in recent racing, so will need some improvement to be in this. At Hobart in Race 3 is The Thug who was a good fresh-up 2nd placing last week, so should certainly be in the money again this week. In Race 4 is Stylish Trend who lined up twice again last weekend for a good 3rd placing, then got caught wide for most of the trip in the second race and finished in 6th placing, so must rate to feature again here.
