Sizzling 90 mins for Savvy Six coming up

It will be an exciting and adrenaline filled 90minutes tonight for our Savvy Six Syndicate with two class 3YO fillies lining up in black type races at Addington Raceway & Alexandra Park.

A brief wheel lock and slushy track conditions meant we didn't see the best of last years 2YO of the year, TAILORED ELEGANCE at Ashburton last Saturday.

As reported on the All Stars website she's had two runs on the wet and hasn't performed to her best either time. With a fine and fast track predicted for this evening we're putting a line through that run and look forward to seeing the classy filly out of Classic Armbro back taking on her own sex.

Drawn 3 in the 10 horse field, she has Tim Williams doing the steering. She'll be looking to add win number three to her CV at her favourite track.

Savvy Six Syndicate after ON A ROLL's 24 Jan Win at Alexandra Park

The North Island based members of the Savvy Six Syndicate will be rolling in to Alexandra Park to watch ON A ROLL take part in the feature race of the evening the Group 1 Pascoes The Jewellers Northern Oaks.

Only out of the money four times in her 13 start career this filly is miss consistent. Out of dual Group 1 winner ONLY FOR YOU the daughter of Bettor's Delight loves a hard run race and isn't afraid of doing work in the running. She has thrived since coming north to join the barn of Jeremy Young. There are some classy fillies in the line up including multiple Grp 1 winner Amazing Dream, but we're expecting On A Roll to run yet another honest race.

Given the perfect lead up race at Cambridge Raceway last week she'll be looking for them to run a hot pace up front and she'll be rolling off their backs when they hit the straight.

Trainer Jeremy Young and On A Roll's reinsman Sailesh Abernethy combined last year to take out this Group 1 event with Best Western. Can they make it back to back?
