Breckon Farms once again has a good number of farm-bred or foaled, owned or related horses lining up to race this weekend.

THURSDAY

Addington in Race 1 is Kruizr who has had two good thirds in his last 2-starts without much luck and is overdue a win, so should go close in this.

Tamworth in Race 2 is Bite The Bullet who was squeezed and broke on the home turn last week, but can be forgiven for that and should be hard to beat here. A

Cobram in Race 5 is Some Change who finished on well for third last time out and was a good winner prior to that, so he must be one of the leading chances in this.

FRIDAY

Auckland in Race 3 is Sertorius who was 3-wide from the 1400m last time to finish sixth, but completed a hattrick prior to that and rates a top chance to get back in the Winners Circle here. In Race 4 is Prince Of Pleasure who has had some comfortable workout wins, should be the hardest to beat in this, despite his 2nd Row draw. In Race 5 is Bettor Sensation who was a good fourth when resuming here 2-weeks back, so should be fitter and has the draw to threaten. In Race 6 is All Yours who was another gallant second a fortnight ago here and has a favourable draw to say he’s a win chance in this. In Race 7 is Gladamare who has had 3-wins-from-4-starts over the 1609m trip and despite her 2nd Row draw should be right amongst things here.

Albion Park in Race 5 is So Bobs Your Uncle who was only adequate when resuming last week, so will need to improve to get any of this.

Bankstown in Race 2 is Art I Special who has had two good thirds after a narrow win 3-starts back, so despite his outside Front Line draw here, he is capable of featuring in this.

Melton in Race 6 is My Kiwi Mate who was a good fourth from a 2nd Row draw on resumption last time and despite a wide draw here is capable of getting amongst it, Burnaholeinmypocket who is Em.1 and unlikely to get a start and Code Black who has been racing very well recently and with a little luck from his 2nd Row draw can certainly get some of this. In Race 9 is Pocket Thedeal who has been disappointing in recent racing, so will need some improvement to be in this.

Hobart in Race 4 is Stylish Trend who also lines up on Sunday at Launceston and could only manage a fifth-place finish from a nice one-one trip last week, but can run in the money here with a little luck from his 2nd Row draw.

Gloucester Park in Race 2 is Tuas Delight who got caught 3-wide for a good part of the journey last week, but won his 2-starts prior, so from his handy draw is capable of bouncing back, but will need to be on his game. In Race 6 is King Of Swing who was an impressive easy winner last week, but will need to continue in that vein to place in this field. In Race 7 are Ctheballerina who has struggled in her last couple and will need to improve to be in this, Rockon Bye who is fresh-up and certainly capable of taking this out and Crystal Sparkles who has back-to-back wins on this course in her last 2-starts, so is very capable of featuring again despite her wide draw.

SATURDAY

Albion Park in Race 1 is Vettel who didn’t really get into his race last time off a 2nd Row draw, but was a tough winner the start before, so from a handy draw here should get his chance to bounce back. In Race 2 is Vasari who has won his last two on the course and with the right run from his 2nd Row draw over 1660m, should be able to get amongst it. In Race 3 is Rocking who has been racing well, with a win and two placings in her last 3-starts on this course, is capable of getting some of this.

Menangle in Race 8 is Shandance who has had two good seconds in her last 3-starts on the course and was checked out of the other, so rates a chance to get some of this.

Melton in Race 1 is Laredo Torpedo who has had three 2nd Row draws in his last 3-starts, for a win, pulled up with a flat tyre and a solid fourth, so is well capable of featuring in the finish here. In Race 4, the Breeders Crown 3YO Fillies Final, are Miss Streisand who was disappointing in her heat but managed to make this final with a fifth in her semi and is drawn to get the trip from the ace, so can feature and champion filly Our Princess Tiffany who bounced back from a poor 4th by her high standards in the heats for an emphatic win in the same semi last week, so has justified being the series favourite and should be winning this.

Bunbury in Race 4 is Smart Fortune who has had excuses in his last two fifth placings, but has been racing very well prior, so must rank a good chance of being in the money here.

SUNDAY

Cranbourne in Race 4 is Emiliana who has been struggling in recent racing and will need some improvement to get any of this.

Launceston in Race 5 is Stylish Trend who also lines up on Friday at Hobart, could only manage fifth from a nice one-one trip last week, so will need to show some improvement to feature here.
